Pineapple Dance Studios‘ very own Louie Spence, will be one of the presenters of Arena’s live coverage of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade.
Other presenters are expected to be announced soon.
No city in the world matches Sydney for the enthusiasm it shows for its major gay pride event! The Mardi Gras Parade has grown to become a major cultural event in Australia and its appeal stretches well beyond Sydney’s gay community and its close supporters. Ten thousand costumed and flesh-baring participants will spread across 4km and 150 themed floats parading down Oxford Street.
Tens of thousands of people will line the central Sydney route to wave rainbow-coloured flags in a symbol of diversity and inclusiveness. It’s a night of colour and spectacle that stops the city and Arena will be there to transport you into the outrageousness!
Spence will also appear in the Show Business (pictured), coming to Foxtel.
Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade airs live at Saturday, March 5, at 7.30pm.
