Nine will premiere the David E. Kelley drama Harry’s Law, starring Kathy Bates, on Sunday March 6th.
It will air at 9:30pm following The Mentalist.
Bates plays Harriet aka “Harry”, fired from her job as a patent lawyer, and her group of associates who open a law practice in a rundown shoe store in Cincinnati. The cast also includes Nate Corddry, Brittany Snow and Aml Ameen.
The series only premiered in the US in mid January.
It replaces CSI: Miami which is airing 9:30pm Thursdays and Mondays.

WTF Channel Nine, how can you go and change the time for Harry’s Law, I look forward to this every week and rotate my life for my favourite shows……. So dissapointed : (

Kathy Bates is a wonderful actress!!!!
This is a brilliant little show! Hopefully Nine treat it right and the audience takes to it.
Here, it is up against Castle and Hawaii 5-0. Funnily enough, it’s the same in the States as well, albeit on Mondays.
Incredibly excited about this show! I love Kathy Bates and Brittany Snow! Definitely going to watch- but I don’t think it’ll be a hit here… Especially on Channel 9. It’ll be pushed, moved (to Gem) or cancelled within 3 weeks. I hope not… But I have a bad feeling.
I guess if the ratings are not fantastic then this show would be perfect on GEM.
You know, with Kelly at the helm and Bates in the lead role, I’d like to give this a go. But Nine have given me no reason to trust them with regard to either start time or time-slot consistency so I think I’ll stick with Castle.
Love Kathy Bates – will give it a shot. I’ve also seen some of the ads which look very much like David E Kelly’s style, which i’ve always liked.
I guess Nine it trying anything to get ratings, I haven’t seen this show yet but with Kathy Bates I will check it out.
