Arj Barker has a pretty good booking manager

This week Arj Barker is appearing on both Live from Planet Earth and Adam Hills In Gordon Street Tonight.

In all the passion (and plenty of dispassion) over talk of Ben Elton’s debut show, there has been little comment about the Arj Barker appearing on both Live from Planet Earth and Adam Hills In Gordon Street Tonight.

While he was live on Nine’s Tuesday night comedy, he had already recorded his appearance for ABC1 the night before. It airs tonight at 8:30pm.

What are the chances Producers from both shows neglected to ask if he had given a ‘Yes’ to the other mob?

Either way he has a pretty good booking agent.

Now all we need is for Mark Riley to front up to Arj Barker on Seven News and he will have this week’s hat trick.

  1. @ Brenda Gills, I may be an Arj Baker “hater” as you have quite rightly have gleaned from my comment but I don’t see how that makes me a troll. I loved Ross Noble “phoning in” his piece but you know what? I skipped Arj because watching him phone it in twice in one week would have been too much to bare .

I thought this forum was for people to give their opinion and express their taste, not for name calling.
BTW Bazza, thanks for coming to my defence. You are a gentleman and a scholar.

  2. So apparently now having an opinion that differs from that of others is “hating”…
I can see how it would be trolling to use such terminology, so +1 for the sweet irony.

  3. Arj Barker is one of the best comedians in the world. That’s why he tours the globe while you trolls sit around and hate.

He was also by far the highlight of Eltons show even though it was admittedly not the strongest set of his life.

    And he’s kinda hot!

  4. I like Arj Barker’s humour, but he seemed quite nervous on Ben Elton’s show last night (maybe he had good reason to be). It’ll be interesting to see how Adam Hills fares tonight – my hunch is it’ll be altogether a slicker, funnier and more cohesive program.

  5. The mystery is why he even gets considered for the gigs at all. Profoundly unfunny. Tired slacker schtick.
Having said that, I am hoping AHIGST will be a nice mix between Graham Norton and Denton. Adam Hills knows what Australians think is funny. Shame Mr Elton does not.
