Barbra disses Glee -and then backtracks.
Barbra Streisand was asked if she would ever consider doing an episode of Glee. "Not if I can help it," she replied.

Barbra Streisand, who was honoured at the pre-Grammy MusiCares event was asked if she would ever consider doing an episode of Glee.
“Not if I can help it,” she replied.
Say what?
The diva slagging off the show that idolises divas?
It may not have been the wisest thing to say, especially given Lea Michele performed a Streisand tribute that same night.
But since then she has done a bit of a U-Turn.
On her website she wrote, “When asked if I would ever appear on Glee, I should have said, ‘You never know.’ It was wrong to say, ‘Not if I can help it.’
“What I meant was that I’ve been overwhelmed preparing for my performance on MusiCares, the Grammys, recording a new album, and starting a new movie. So I couldn’t take on any more work, and besides that, I wasn’t asked. I’m so honored that a lead character on Glee is so admiring of my work. In my speech at MusiCares, I thanked them ‘for exposing young people to music they might otherwise not hear today: Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Darren Criss…you’re all so gifted.'”

Well,at least she had the good grace to admit she was wrong.Not many people do that these days.
as a major gleek, i think it had to be sooner or later for Glee to produce an episode that makes me cringe.
this week it will finally happen.

@Jake Gasp!!! Barbra Streisand a has -been never ever. I don’t think someone who continues to have sell-out concerts has won every award possible for film TV and Music. On top of all that has her own charitable foundation and has done for decades is a has-been.
It would be huge for Glee to have her on Lea Michel’s character would be beside herself, but The Nanny made contant references to her during the course of the shows run and unfortunately for Fran she never appeared.
Just the Bieber covers are boring? What about the originals!

I don’t even watch Glee, but I’m sure they would want Barbra to appear on their show, she would be the biggest star they have had. As for Barbra being a has been, she continues to make more money from record sales and royalties than you or I could ever hope to earn in a lifetime, on top of the millions she already has in the bank.

It will be interesting to see if the ‘Glee’cast last as long in the industry as Barbra has
