In a major coup for The Circle, US funny lady Lily Tomlin will co-host Friday’s episode.
Tomlin is in Australia touring her solo show, An Evening with Lily Tomlin in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney. She’ll also be here for Mardi Gras.
Recently Tomlin has appeared in Damages and Desperate Housewives.
Ironically, her fellow Damages co-star Martin Short was a guest host on the show’s predecessor, 9AM with David and Kim.
It airs 10am Friday on TEN.

Is it even worth noting that Martin Short was on 9am?
She’s so fine! I watched several segments of her today – she is generous, warm and funny. Wow, and 71 – going great! It would have been a hoot to be in that circle today. Lily has the best laugh on the planet – so hearty. Love her!

Sounds like The Circle is taking The Morning Show’s concept. They’ve had international guest hosts before too … Paul Potts, Patrizio Buanne, Craig David and Ronan Keating (before X-Factor)
