Arnie promises new TV series

Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to feature in a new television series, but no details on what it is just yet.

“I’ll be back,” he promised, and it seems former Californian Governor and silver screen Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger will indeed be back, but this time on the small screen.

Schwarzenegger has promised to announce first details of his new TV series at MIPTV in Cannes next month.

While it isn’t clear if this is an action, drama or even comedy series, it is tipped to be an “international TV series” (so it sounds like a sprawling drama of some kind).

Aussie TV execs will soon head over to the annual sales-fest, which will also see appearances from Eva Green, Joseph Fiennes and Jamie Campbell Bower, who are promoting Camelot, John Barrowman, promoting Torchwood and Oliver Hershbiegel, John Doman and Assumpta Serna, fronting The Borgias.

  1. I always thought eiher Total Recall or True Lies would make great film-to-T.V adaptations but it will probably be an original IP. Hopefully action/comedy, Arnie doesn’t really cut it when it comes to drama.
