This week on Adam Hills in Gordon St Tonight, the guests are comedian Dave Hughes, environmental activist Paul Watson, and actress Claudia Karvan.

Music acts are Paris Wells and The Bedroom Philosopher.

Dave Hughes is one of the most popular talents to have emerged from the Australian comedy scene in the last 10 years. A natural and unmistakably Australian comic, Dave’s laconic style thinly disguises one of the fastest comic minds this country has ever seen.

For 31 years, Captain Paul Watson has been at the helm of the world’s most active marine non-profit organization – Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. The Canadian native was an early and influential member of Greenpeace, and has also authored a handful of books about wildlife conservation.

Claudia Karvan is an Australian actress popular for her roles in the television series The Secret Life of Us and Love My Way. She is also a producer and writer on Love My Way and appeared in the 2010 film Daybreakers and most recently starred in the drama series Spirited.

Paris Wells is an Australian soul/funk singer/songwriter based in Melbourne. She released her debut album, Keep It, in July of 2008, and has played at festivals such as Falls Festival, Big Day Out, Meredith and Sydney Music Festival. She has also supported Justin Timberlake and Jamie Lidell. Paris will perform her latest single Let’s Get It Started.

The Bedroom Philosopher (aka Justin Heazlewood) is an Australian comedian, author, actor and songwriter. Most known for his musical comedy works, The Bedroom Philosopher has released several albums, performed at many arts festivals, been nominated for an ARIA Award and is a regular guest on several Australian radio shows. He’s currently touring his new show Wit Bix.

It airs 8:30pm Wednesday on ABC1.
