Kiefer: 24 movie in 2012

Kiefer Sutherland says the 24 movie will now be released in 2012.

“It will come out in the (US) summer of 2012,” Sutherland told The View.

A first draft of a script has already been written.

Of course, last time he said anything about the movie it was that shooting would begin around August.

But a FOX publicist corrected him.

“Unfortunately, Kiefer is overly optimistic,” they noted.

“The project is still in development, with no director attached. All the other details have been reported.”

In somewhat more solid news, Sutherland will appear in Tim Kring’s upcoming series, Touch, as the father of an autistic son.
