Arena’s Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade broadcast this Saturday night just became Arena’s “must see” Mardi Gras broadcast due to one Lily Tomlin now on board.
She will be joining Louie Spence to host the broadcast along with Charlotte Dawson, Ruby Rose, Matthew Mitcham, Pam Ann and special guests including Chelsea Handler. Zoe Badwi will also do a live performance of her dance hit, Freefalling.
Tomlin will be at the start area kicking off the parade with a call to arms to all parade entrants. The cameras will follow her as she goes up the Mardi Gras route.
Arena promises more cameras, more stages, more cranes and a chopper with the route filmed from the start of Oxford Street, past Taylor Square and finishing on South Dowling Street.
Foxtel also announces a red button multi-window screen with two different views, including either the Live Studio Feed or the Uncut Parade Feed with “Live Drag Analysis” from Miss Penny Tration, Tora Hymen and Candy Box.
Arena will broadcast the event Live and Exclusive on Saturday, March 5 from 7.30pm.
