Airdate: 2011 Comedy Festival Great Debate

Corinne Grant adjudicates the question, is this the end of the world, as we know it?

Next Monday night, April 25th, TEN airs the 2011 Comedy Festival Great Debate at 8:30pm.

Adjudicator, Corinne Grant, is presented with two arguments as Tom Gleeson, Julia Morris, Jason Byrne, Paul McDermott, Cal Wilson and Paul F. Tompkins debate – is this the end of the world, as we know it?

The Debate took place last night in a sold out event at Melbourne Town Hall.

At 9:45pm it will be followed by the Australian movie The Tender Hook (2008) starring Hugo Weaving, Rose Byrne, Pia Miranda. The film will add to TEN’s drama points this year.

  1. ……and Tom Gleeson brings out the predictable red-head jokes. Boring, unfunny and outdated. It’s just awkward when people with red-hair mock themselves. Why would you insult yourself and make derogatory remarks?

  2. Great show, was in the audience on sunday and got dragged on stage by jason byrne and made bounce round on space balls…. definately worth a watch!

  3. This program will be shown in Perth next Friday week (April 29) after the Royal Wedding, due to Ten’s coverage of AFL match between Fremantle and the Western Bulldogs on Monday night.

  4. Ten is really milking the comedy festival for every last rating they can get this year – I think we’ve 4 Comedy Gala and 2 special GNW episodes in the last month!
