Bumped: Castle

Castle's double episodes this Sunday will now start at 9pm on Seven instead of the previously advertised time of 8:30pm.

It was inevitable.

Castle‘s double episodes this Sunday will now start at 9pm on Seven instead of the previously advertised time of 8:30pm. The switch due to a certain Dancing shindig.

Another double airs at 9pm on May 22nd.

  1. I missed it! thought it wasnt on and started watching something else.. 9pm is a bad start time.. Australian Television isnt worth bothering with!
    We need a new system

  2. it’s annoying for the castle fans but those of us who watch dancing at 6:30pm and switching over to cooking on 10 at 7:30pm and back again for the final half hour they don’t miss a thing

  3. I thought Seven did an Arena (showing the wrong episode of Top Chef: Just Desserts revealing the top 3) when they aired the wrong episodes last week but i heard that Seven did it deliberately. I am not happy with this type of practice. Why move episodes out of order?

  4. @ tim – thanks i thought i was imagining things as i thought 7 aired eps 16/17 last week and this week 13/14! Why would they do this?? Anyway I adore Castle but because of this and 7 going through 2 eps a week + no new Bones I have temporarily given up watching Castle on 7 (as I have csi ny on 9). Perhaps when they go back to one a week paired with Bones I’ll come back.

  5. Tim Welsh-Eliot, that explains a lot. I kept telling my mum to watch out for one particular episode, but she said she hadn’t seen it, even though they’ve now shown episodes that are meant to be after it. Idiots Seven, this is why i don’t watch it on your channel.

  6. Yeah, I like Castle but not watching it any more. Not going to sit thru the over-running dross before it, waiting for it to start.

  7. So Seven are jumping back to the episodes they skipped. Fans of the show watching on Seven (not those illegally downloading after yet again the contempt shown by a network for its viewers) will now realise why the lapses in continuity last week (e.g. Lanie & Esposito’s relationship, a secret the week prior, was openly/inexplicably acknowledged by all main characters last week). Just like previous shows running over – yet another way to keep viewers from “going elsewhere”… 🙁
