It hasn't taken long for the first post-Logies stories to emerge this year.

It hasn’t taken long for the first post-Logies stories to emerge with actor Dieter Brummer facing five criminal charges after an alleged incident at Crown last night.

The Herald Sun reports that just before 2.30am this morning, Brummer was reportedly asked to leave the Nine party.

Security became involved after an angry outburst, the newspaper notes.

A Victoria Police Spokeswoman confirmed to the Herald Sun a 34-year-old from Bondi North had been charged with intentionally causing injury, recklessly causing injury, unlawful assault, behaving in a riotous manner, and being drunk in a public place.

He will appear before Melbourne Magistrates Court on August 29.

Brummer appeared in Underbelly and has an upcoming role in Neighbours.
