Eurovision locks on Final

Düsseldorf is ready to pop! Here is the complete running order for the Eurovision's Final. Spoiler-free post (AEST).

10 more acts from Eurovision‘s Second Semi Final have qualified for the Final tonight.

They are:

Bosnia & Herzegovina: Dino Merlin “Love In Rewind”
Austria: Nadine Beiler “The Secret Is Love “
The Netherlands: 3JS “Never Alone”
Belgium: Witloof Bay “With Love Baby”
Slovakia: TWiiNS “I’m Still Alive”
Ukraine: Mika Newton “Angel”
Moldova: Zdob și Zdub “So Lucky”
Sweden: Eric Saade “Popular
Cyprus: Christos Mylordos “San Aggelos S’Agapisa”
Bulgaria: Poli Genova “Na Inat”
F.Y.R. Macedonia: Vlatko Ilievski “Rusinka”

Estonia: Getter Jaani “Rockefeller Street”

Belarus: Anastasiya Vinnikova “I Love Belarus”
Latvia: Musiqq “Angel In Disguise”
Denmark: A Friend In London “New Tomorrow”
Ireland: Jedward “Lipstick”

What a surprise that Israel’s Dana International, who won in 1998, has missed out. It has been done before (with Melbourne-born Johnny Logan), but it’s a rarity. Take note Lena from Germany…

France remains the bookie’s favourite.

I was quite taken by Hungary until I saw the presentation which I thought let it down. Now I’m partial to Austria and Slovenia. Sweden sells his song really well. Can’t bear Jedward but the performance can’t be denied. Suspect we will get another roar from the crowd when that huge globe dwarfs Finland. I’m very keen to see what the Big Five pull out for tonight, but I don’t think Germany can repeat their 2010 success with the song Lena is singing.

If Jedward win we might as well pack it all in…

  1. is it just me, or is one of the Azerbaijan girls singing off key, in the finale repeat?

perhaps they’ve now turned off the overdub tape.

  2. I wonder if news.com.au would have so blatantly announced the winner if Ten or 11 had the broadcast and not SBS. Of course, they wouldn’t provide any spoiler alert, would they?

  3. I tried to go to the SBS website to cast a vote in their poll, but everytime I tried it came up with a service offline message.

At our eurovision party the top ten were 1) Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Denmark, Ukraine, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Romania, Latvia and Moldova.

No one voted for Ireland, not even the dozen or so Irish people there.
