Spoiler: Classic Aussie soap stars will soon be acting side by side on Neighbours.

Former Cop Shop star Paula Duncan will make an appearance in Erinsborough.

This follows other soapie classics, including Ramsay Street’s own Ian Smith (‘Harold Bishop’) returning plus former Home and Away heartthrob Dieter Brummer in a guest role.

The original Mal Kennedy played by Benji McNair is also back for a few months.

Harold’s mystery woman, who we now learn is his fiancé, arrives in town. It’s no other than Paula Duncan! Harold tries to keep the peace when Carolyn (Duncan) and Lou take an instant dislike to each other. Disobeying Carolyn’s wishes, Lou plans a surprise buck’s night for Harold. But Toadie invites Troy, thinking he’s doing the right thing for Callum… however Tory takes this opportunity to tell Harold where to go. It’s battle of the soap stars Dieter Brummer vs Ian Smith!

  2. She was a star on all 3 commercial networks: Young Doctors, Cop Shop and Prisoner. All 3 of those shows haven’t seen a free to air run in a long time and with all the digital channels now they should be repeated.

  3. Yes, i’ve watched Paula in soaps since her Young Doctors days, she was Ada’s (Gwen Plumb’s) neice n that. Paula also played Danni Minogues mum on H&A, it would be great if they one day turned up again in Summer Bay. But in the meantime i’ll enjoy seeing her in Neighbours. Gotta say though, have been somewhat dissapointed in Dieters role on neighbours. Just not very likable, from what i’ve seen.

  5. I read an article about why Ian was back on the show and its because apparently his supperanuation has taken a hit. Still i think its good to see him back. Maybe they can include some of the other former cast members, it would be good, although unlikely.

  7. Wow, Harold’s buck’s night would be a wild affair wouldn’t it! I can see him finishing the night blind drunk and tied naked to a light pole at Lassiters.

    Maybe a game of Scrabble and a cup of tea might be more his style.

  8. Wow Harold is certainly punching way above his weight! Paula was gorgeous back in her young doctors and cop shop (yes this should be reshown again!)days and still looks ok.

  11. Oooh you dont tell Harold where to go. Naughty Troy I hope he doesnt punch Harold.

    A Harolds bucks party would be pretty funny though and poor Lou now feels left out because his best mate is getting married.
