Returning: Burn Notice

Sydney viewers will get to see new episodes of Burn Notice before the rest of the country when it returns next month.

Sydney viewers will get to see new episodes of Burn Notice before the rest of the country when it returns next month.

The drama will return 9:30pm Saturday June 11th with “Eyes Open” S4E13. It picks up from the cliff-hanger when Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) had been shot through the chest by Jesse (Coby Bell).

This episode aired in the US in November.

No word on the rest of the country yet….

UPDATE: Now out. Could it replace The Defenders nationwide instead?

  1. Hey there might be something saying this or something but when can us QLD viewers get it this might sound a bit obnocuis sorry about the english i’m only 15 a date and time please

  2. I became hooked on Burn Notice late in the game after my mum kept telling me how much she enjoyed it. I now know how I will be spending two hours of my Saturday night 9.30 Burn Notice 10.30 90210.

  3. @ Pete – White Collar Season 2 finished this week (hence Burn Notice on its place next week), and Season 3 only starts in the U.S. next month so don’t expect it on TEN for another couple of months (if I was to guess I would say after December). In regards to Blue Bloods, TEN has roughly 10 episodes left to show of Season 1 and the Facebook team don’t have any knowledge of when that will be.
@ Kevin – TEN done the same with White Collar, with them only showing the second part of the season (with U.S. season’s being cut in two for some reason I am still trying to understand). Knowing TEN they will only show the second half and than stop again. I would predict that they would show both White Collar and Burn Notice over the Summer programming block (which I can’t understand seems though USA Network prgramming is amazing but TEN ruin them with the terrible timeslots).

  4. There’s only 6 more eps to show, not unless Ten timed it to also start showing season 5 episodes that start in North America on June 23. Are they also going to show the Bruce Campbell ‘Sam Axe’ prequel TV movie.

  5. Hopefully Melbourne viewers will be able to watch it on Tens website after its aired in Sydney rather than having to wait for it to screen here as well.

  6. Bout time its returned! Don’t like TEN putting their USA Network programming in the crappy 9:30pm Saturday timeslot, but its better than not at all.

  7. What on earth are they going to play on Wednesdays at 8:30 now? They only have three Glee episodes remaining. The only thing I can think of they have yet to air is the remainder of Modern Family’s current season, and low-rating shows like Medium and Law and Order: UK.

I expected this show to replace Glee, its been a consistent performer for Ten behind Rush on Thursdays. To shaft it to Saturday nights is a bit of a letdown.

  8. What about the TV Movie special David?

FYI it’s a stand alone store which is set before the events in the S1 pilot so could be shown at any time and not disrupting the time-line of the current season.

BTW I gave up on TEN for this show years ago.

  9. why do some states get new eps while others don’t? they did the same to Monk and recently White Collar. now Burn Notice? it ain’t fair! some states like SA & WA are getting Friday Night Lights. whats wrong with putting movies on Saturday nights like every other channel? another thing, ok it has to do with football but if some states get that early and other states get new eps instead, shouldn’t those shows be played later in the night for those who get football early?!

  10. Thank goodness Burn Notice is returning to Sydney screens. Great series, cool characters and playful script. Sydneysiders are all for relaxed glam atmospheres with a good sprinkling of fiesty irish spirit. Hope she kicks Jesse’s a*se.

  11. Looks like June 11 is going to be a busy night for me because along with Burn Notice, there’s the mid-season 36 finale of Doctor Who (that is how I refer to this year’s season of Doctor Who), Outcasts, 90210 & Upstairs Downstairs new series premiere.
