Polar Bear: Spy on the Ice: sneak peek

In this tense scene from Polar Bear: Spy on the Ice, one polar bear uses all his wits to try and nab his prey.

Tomorrow night Nine premieres the two-part BBC documentary Polar Bear: Spy on the Ice which uses more remote and camouflaged cameras to get up close and personal with Arctic polar bears: Icebergcam, Blizzardcam and Snowballcam.

As you can see by this tense scene involving an unsuspecting seal, one polar bear uses all his wits to try and nab his prey.

Originally narrated by David Tennant, it has been revoiced for Aussie audiences by Jack Thompson.

It airs 8:30pm Thursday on Nine.

  1. I seen part one on the televison but was unaware when the second part was going to be aired and now feared i have missed it does anyone know how I can see it. Thanks for your help ;0)

  2. Was sad Nine had to pick this up, not ABC as ads are just plain annoying! But now they’ve decided to remove David Tennant for Jack Thompson?! I won’t be watching it anymore.

  3. @\Craig I agree! I saw the sneak peak on Ellen and it looked really good. I think its a bit insulting to the BBC. Shame its not on HD either.

  4. This is not right all the fangirls won’t be happy.David was the best looking doctor who we ever had and has the most beautiful shottish accent.

  5. As much as I like Jack Thompson, I’d still prefer to hear the original David Tennant narration. I just don’t see the point of re-voicing these shows.
