  1. AlvinC: since when has the Sydney Morning Herald been part of News Limited?
    I must have missed something!
Mind you, the most accurate and impartial part of the SMH these days is their great TV guide.

  2. @Jen13: “We’ll get the nuts and bolts of the carbon ripoff in the paper on Monday morning”. Oh yeah, trust news limited to provide you a fair and balanced view.

Anyways, David, TEN will be airing it at midday too and apparently at 9PM, Hugh Riminton will be hosting a carbon tax special.

  3. David, my comment on scheduling of this piece of political incompetence is that we will be watching something else.
    Anything else.
We’ll get the nuts and bolts of the carbon ripoff in the paper on Monday morning.
    Why spoil a night’s viewing?

  4. OMG I’m so sick of people posting their biased political opinions on blogs.
I am reminded of the saying that “Opinions are like ar#@holes, everyone’s got one, but that doesn’t mean we want to see it.”
This website is attracting enough trolls and nutbags as it is – let’s keep political point scoring out of it and stick to TV.
    Sorry for my rant.

  5. Its funny how a majority of the people dispise the tax (me included) but most politicians want it. This is absolutely ridiculous that the people who we voted for are the ones who aren’t listening to what we want. Why don’t we become communist then?
I hope Julia Dillard suffers the same fate as Kev cos this nation is screwed with a tax on carbon.
Tony Abbott and the liberals all the way.

  6. ABC News 24’s coverage will also be streamed live on Australia Network’s website from 11am to 8pm (AEST) for overseas viewers.
@ Tom: Seven’s live coverage will go for one hour because Sydney and Brisbane has an AFL match at 1pm and other cities have V8 commitments, while Nine’s telecast will continue until the announcement is over.

  7. OMG I’m so sick of the carbon tax. We never voted for it but we’re still going to get it, see people this is what happens when you vote in an incompetent Labor government plunging us all in to debt.

Sorry for the rant, getting off the soap box now.
