Larry King Special: Harry Potter- The Final Chapter

CNN will screen a Larry King special on Harry Potter including star interviews and extended footage.

CNN will screen a Larry King special on Harry Potter- The Final Chapter this Sunday night ahead of the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

After 10 years, some six billion dollars in ticket sales and millions of excited fans around the world, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 will mark the end of one of the most successful film franchises in history.

It’s being called the “pop culture event of the winter” and Larry King will take viewers behind the scenes to reveal the magic of the making of the final movie. King will interview all three stars of the films (Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson & Rupert Grint) in their first extended interview about the final movie, along with the special effects teams who brought the wizarding world to life on the big screen.

Never seen before footage will give viewers a glimpse into how the iconic characters and creatures were created. And for the first time, fans will be treated to an extended clip of the film that will be shown exclusively on this Larry King Special just days before it opens in theaters.

It airs Sunday July 10th at 7pm on CNN.

  1. I won’t miss them….saw the 1st 2 chapters and that was enough for me. Can’t say I really understood these movies…but then how does one make a 2 hr flick from a 500 page book????

  2. @ Craig – Hahahahah! Nah they only like ripping off the other FTA networks, not pay TV networks because they have higher paid lawyers =p

  3. Can’t wait, even though it is shown in 4:3 instead of 16:9 like the rest of the leading news channels (with the only 4:3 channels left being CNN, Bloomberg, Al Jazera (which is available in 16:9 in other countries but not Austar), and CCTV News).
