Seven will soon be airing Suits, a legal drama from USA Network.

Seven will soon be airing Suits, a legal drama from USA Network starring Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht which began in the US last month.

It follows college drop-out Mike Ross, who has always dreamed of becoming a lawyer but life has taken him in a different direction.

However, when an unexpected opportunity presents itself, he soon finds himself becoming the new associate at one of Manhattan’s top corporate law firms. There is only one problem -he doesn’t actually have a law degree.

The show received a 12-episode order in January.

  1. Ah terina! You probably did what I did. Did you freak out when you couldn’t see Suits on the tv guide? I am so hoping it’s just a one week absence. This is the one ot the only shows I’ve been watching regularly on free to air but I’ve noticed a pattern with free to air: they tend to take shows on and off. They did this so many time with CSI Miami.

  2. Hi we have watched suits on channel 7 since it began and find it to be a top rating program, the only thing wrong is the time slots, it started at 9.30 pm, then went to 10-30pm quite bazzar, it should be at least 8-3pm and remain there.
to day 6-11-2011, its been shuffled around, and would you belive it they took it off to put Body of proof, which is a great program in its place, with a second episode only is old…no Suits showing, and this is not the only programming problem found, this list is extreamly long, static lengths of of finishing times is another problem for example x-faxtor is showen to finish at a set time, but never does, it always runs over, making recording a nightmare, free to should be better organised, Who the hell is doing the programming.

  3. @ Jake – don’t forget about Royal Pains which Seven aired the first season of, changing its timeslot twice, and never buying season 2 with it looking more likely to be brought by TV1 with them airing season 1 this month. USA Network programming is better suited to TEN’s target demo, but they do not give them enough attention compared to Seven (as is the case with TEN putting Burn Notice and White Collar in the Friday and Saturday graveyard slots, while Seven puts Covert Affairs in the terrific Wed 9:30pm slot)

  4. I predict this will get a 10:30 timeslot somewhere, probably following Covert Affairs on Wednesdays

Did Seven ever showing season 2 of Royal Pains?

  5. That’s terrific! I asked TEN when the show started on USA Network to look into buying it (with it fitting well with White Collar and Burn Notice which they have the rights to) but once again Seven beats them. Can’t wait to see it =D!

  6. This show sounds great, but Seven doesn’t have a great track record with USA Network shows (eg. Covert Affairs not rating so well for Seven)

  7. @ Dave C this show hasn’t been cancelled – in fact its ratings have been growing all season to date. Nice little show too – better than most USA Network stuff.

  8. @franz chong – please use more intelligent language. Do you know what feral and bogan means? I hate when people are dismissive of things and call it bogan.

Some people just like the escapism of these procedurals.

  9. franz chong says:

Bogans and Ferals aside who watches this stuff.

I do, and I am not one of the above.

It is a great show – maybe you should take some time out to watch it before categorizing what type of ‘viewer’ is attracted to this show.

  10. deedeedragons – it has to do with the production companies…..

e.g. covert affairs is produced by universial cable productions (nbc)
suits is produced by universal media studios (nbc)
psych is produced by universal media studios (nbc)
burn notice is produced by fox television studios (fox)
white collar is produced by fox television studios (fox)

it has to do with the output/broadcasting deals networks make

ten/foxtel get fox studio productions (ten also get some cbs as well) while seven get the universial media studio productions which in turn is owned by nbc

i dont believe there is a usa network show produced by sony – and that is why there are no usa network shows on the nine network

watched the first four eps of suits so far- lovin’ it!!!!!!!!

  11. I think I’ve worked out why the ratings in general for show are suffering, there are too many new shows, with the new channels there has been a torrent of new shows on FTA over the last year and shows like this would normally be shelved until the summer.

Don’t get me wrong I like they are bringing us new shows sooner but they are suffering from viewers not needing another show to follow.

  12. Hmm… So does 7 get all the USA shows now? I wish they had Burn Notice & Psych.
I’m sure 7 would actually show them, even if it was on at 10:30 pm or on 7mate.

  13. God No Not another crime show, legal drama or police procedural or something about the law.Get with the times 7 People want family friendly shows or feel good dramas.Bogans and Ferals aside who watches this stuff.
