Tri-Nations Rugby on FOX Sports

FOX Sports screens the Wallabies v All Blacks game live, ad-free and in HD on Saturday.

In addition to Nine / GEM screening the Tri-Nations Rugby tomorrow, FOX Sports also has the event, but will screen it ad-free.

On the eve of the year’s biggest sporting event, the Wallabies are within reach of a breakthrough Tri Nations crown and a victory that could prove the catalyst for a successful climb to the top of world rugby in October.

The men in gold will host arch rivals New Zealand in Saturday night’s Tri Nations decider, which will be the final meeting of the world’s top-two ranked rugby nations before next month’s Rugby World Cup across the Tasman.

A win would gift the Wallabies their first Tri Nations title since 2001, while a loss would further cement the All Blacks as the raging favourites to raise the William Webb Ellis Cup in Auckland in just under two months.

FOX Sports viewers will be treated to Live coverage of the Tri Nations decider, ad-break free during play, and all in high definition beginning with a one-hour pre-game show hosted by Nick McArdle Live from Suncorp Stadium at 7pm AEST on FOX Sports 3HD & FOX Sports 3.

FOX Sports’ unrivalled coverage will be delivered by the nation’s premier rugby commentary team headed by the game’s number one voice Greg Clark, alongside former Wallabies Phil Kearns, Tim Horan, Greg Martin, Brendan Cannon and Rod Kafer.

  1. @TV Guru
Perhaps because it is FTA and being shown live.
It’s fantastic that WIN are showing Live RU even in regional Victoria! You and your rugger bugger henchmen can pay for your FOX, but if we average sports fans want to watch our Wallabies, isn’t it fantastic that it’s live and free on FTA?

  2. TV Guru, I’m surprised they’re showing that many games lives. But thanks for letting us know. I am chuffed that Fox Sports are showing all 48 games live. I think I should get a job there just for all the free advertising I’m giving them :p

  3. I thought Gordon Bray was the number one voice of Australian Rugby. Why didnt nine hire him and just take the Fox Sports feed and just have its own commentators. would have made more sense. Still good to see Live coverage of Rugby internationals on Nine’s Wide World of Sports.

  4. Why would anyone watch Channel 9 / WIN when they’re only going to show some games of the rugby world cup.

The only RWC games CH9 are going to show are

Opening game – All Blacks v Tonga- Live
    Wallabies v Italy – Live
    Wallabies v Ireland – Live
    Wallabies v USA – Live
    Wallabies v Russia – Live

    1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Quarter finals – Live

    1st & 2nd Semi Finals – Live

3rd place playoff & the Final – Live

I for one will watch the RWC on Foxsports 3 not WIN.

  5. This is why Fox Sports wins hands down when it come to union. Ad Free! This will also be my first choice for world cup games, especially when they are having a dedicated channel showing all games live. I do love that they are showing the Tri Nations on FTA though, the more people that can watch the Wallabies win, the better 😀
