Airdate: Tour of Britain

The UK’s biggest professional cycling race, the Tour of Britain, will feature in highlights on SBS TWO from today, hosted by Michael Tomalaris.

The event takes place over eight days with reigning world champions Thor Hushovd and Tour de France green jersey winner Mark Cavendish.

The UCI Road World Championships from Denmark will be Live on SBS with the women’s road race at 11:20pm on Saturday 24 September on SBS TWO and the men’s road race at 11:10pm on Sunday 25 September on SBS ONE. Selected events will also be streamed LIVE online at wwwsbs.com.au/cyclingcentral from 9pm from Tuesday 20 September to Sunday 25 September.

Also on SBS is the Tour of Beijing, which is now of the UCI’s World Tour calendar in 2011. SBS will show daily highlights from Thursday 6 October to Monday 10 October at 8:30pm (9:00pm on Saturday 8 October) on SBS TWO. Plus there will be Live streaming online at www.sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral from 4pm daily.

And for the first time on SBS, the final two stages of the Jayco Herald Sun Tour will be live from 3pm on Saturday 15 October and Sunday 16 October on SBS TWO.

SBS will feature daily highlights of the Tour of Britain from Monday 12 September to Monday 19 September at 7:30pm on SBS TWO.
