Are Celebrity Apprentice tweets set to spoil?

Celebrity Apprentice Australia contestants love Twitter. But when they fall silent does it mean they have been cut? Ummm... possible spoilers?

Possible Spoilers…?

Tricky problem for Nine’s Celebrity Apprentice Australia, which is filming at the moment.

The show is making full use of Twitter as the celebs tweet their enthusiasm about challenges (Max Markson is positively besotted with it all), and lure their followers to turn up for challenges involving the public. Several have posted photos of ongoing challenges.

Until 3:30pm today you can join them at Manly Beach for a challenge to raise money for Breast Cancer.

But with the real-time of Twitter versus the later broadcast it’s already becoming a Spoiler beacon.

One celeb appears to have already stopped tweeting, suggesting they may have been cut from the show.

It’s great for Nine to have us talking about the show (as indeed I am now) but as the cast becomes slimmer every week is it also going to become more problematic?

  1. @ roaringdave, I don’t think Pauline would have the opportunity to be boring in a show like this. In fact, I don’t think i’ve ever heard Pauline referred to as boring. She managed to go all the way to the Grand Final of DWTS thanks to the audience. I like Pauline a lot, as a person, and as a politician.

  2. I really like The Apprentice and thought Mark Bouris was good on the first series however I will not watch anything that contains Pauline Hanson. She just bores me to tears. Bad move Nine. She may get a few people in for curiosity but they won’t stick around (unless she gets cut early in which case I will start watching).

  3. solution. Standard tweets sent across all contestant twitter accounts, not personally written by each contestant. The messages can continue to be sent after someone has finished on the show.

…. or just don’t pay attention to who’s tweeting.

  4. Just ban tweeting, facebook etc from all contestants still on or not until series has finished filming, if they do twitter thyey will forfeit payment or something .Easy.

  5. agree 100%, I follow Wendell Sailor and he tweets about it too, so you know he is surviving. I think they are being very naive about it.
In saying that nine could be a lot quicker in getting it to air
