US medical drama HawthoRNe, starring Jada Pinkett Smith and Michael Vartan, has been terminated.
TNT Network has confirmed it won’t pick up a fourth season of the series.
“TNT truly appreciates the tremendous dedication of everyone involved,” the network said in a statement. “The series gave TNT the opportunity to work with many outstanding people, including Jada Pinkett Smith and the rest of the show’s talented cast, crew, producers and writers. We wish everyone involved with HawthoRNe nothing but the best.”
In Australia the show screens on the Universal Channel.
Earlier this year TNT dropped Men of a Certain Age, but Rizzoli & Isles and Falling Skies are hits, while it also has a new version of Dallas in production.

Maybe the rating for HawthoRNe were bad because it reminded the american public of how terrible their hospitals are, and that it costs a lot to get insured let alone treated.
Men of a Certain Age suffered from a 6 month break and ratings plummeted, franklin and bash is another that rates okay as well
