  1. Yeah can Someone explain where parenthood has gone? I wish they would actually provide us with information when they don’t show a scheduled program! I’m addicted to parenthood!!!

  2. Well done 7. That is awesome. I enjoyed watching PTTR and then Parenthood.

I think all the aussie eps of Dinner Date were shown because Im sure they would have put them on before showing the UK ones. Secretly I didnt mind Dinner Date.

  3. First news about The Amazing Race S19, now Parenthood is returning! Awesome! I was expecting to wait until February 2012, so glad Seven are starting S3 next week. Parenthood rates fairly well after PTTR. Last season, I remember it was shoved around, taken off for a week or two (for Conviction Kitchen I think), but its ratings held up pretty well. Can’t wait for next Tuesday! Thanks for the news, David.

  4. PTTR & Parenthood was a great combination. Would watch every week. But then 7 got rid of Rafters for Winners & Losers so i eventually stopped watching Parenthood. And now i’ve given up on Rafters.

  5. This is good news, would have been better sooner but at least they are not holding off until 2012 like some of their other similar shows.

FYI not to spoil anyone but Drew (Miles Heizer) does have more to do in S3 starting from ep3. There are some interesting story lines for the whole cast.

Also currently there are only 16 eps planned for the season and it’s not known is there will be an option to extend that to the usual 22. It’s not event known if the show will have a hiatus or run with new eps well into December.

Ratings for the 2 eps so far have been okay, about what they were getting last season in the US. The only thing saving the show is good 18-49 demo and 7 day PVR numbers. Being so early in the season it’s hard to tell if they will have another season, but it’s performing better than some of the new season shows.

  6. Great move by Seven.

PTTR and Parenthood is one of the best double-headers on network television (better than Bones/Castle, even), and having watched the first two episodes of the new season already, I must say that I’m really pleased with the direction in which they’re taking the show.

Who knows, Miles Heizer might even get some screen time this season!
