Nine’s fast-tracking of Charlie’s Angels will now become GO!’s fast-tracking of Charlie’s Angels.

The reboot is being booted to one of Nine’s digital channels after just two episodes.

This week it pulled 639,000 viewers, a drop from 815,000 the week before. Nine fell behind TEN on Tuesday this week.

Nine will replace the show with double episodes of The Big Bang Theory.

A new episode of Big Bang plays at 7:30pm on Monday.

  1. That’s TV Channels for you cramming in more TV Adds than there is TV Shows & its not much better on Pay TV…
    You just get into a New TV Show & the TV Channels can it, they never can get enough more & the more money they get the more they want that’s greed for you ha…
    It’s time to stand up to ram the TV Network with a mass of emails, letters, etc. to make yourself & us heard make it loud people to put the pressure on the TV Networks to stop mucking around with our TV Show, the only time they try to get us on side is ratings time & that’s just not good enough for us for the rest of the time we get crap..
    Use the Letters & Emails send to TV Networks, News Programs, News papers, radio program, etc & more Make lots of noise, Make it loud people.

  3. @ Johnson – They are meant to launch before December 5th but Win Television are the ‘last minute’ sort of company so I don’t exactly have money on them launching any sooner. And besides, it still means that the area has been without these digital channels for the better half of 4 years (with the first being TEN HD).
    @ roaringdave – I realise that all they care about is money, but you would hope its not the case seems though this is an industry that makes money off the opinions of their audience and yet they don’t care.
    @ Bogues – dropping it completely would have been better as now the remainder of the country will view it and my area will not until the digital channels launch, only for viewers who want to continue to watch it being 2 months behind (as can be seen in the case of White Collar which had its second half of season 2 shown in NSW and QLD and not the rest of the country only for TEN to begin showing season 3 this week leaving all other states in the dark of what happened in those episodes).

  6. They’ve pulled this one but haven’t done anything about the joy of sets, which is rating much worse! I think they should do a switcheroo with Survivor at 9pm, it would at least better those terrible figures theyre getting at the moment!

  10. Erica Durance (Lois Lane in Smallville) is guest starring in the episode called ”Angels in Chains” which is Episode 4 but it says the wrong episode on imdb.

  11. Nine’s a disgrace.Why not a fresh new home grown sitcom or a weekly Price is Right on a Tuesday at that hour instead of relying on American Gap Filler

  12. @ Kirk. There is a good chance that Charlie’s Angels will be cancelled in the US within the next week if it suffers another drop tomorrow night, at best it might survive until the end of October before it is pulled for November sweeps – so there is zero point attempting to grow an audience when the show’s prospects are already terminal.

    9 make plenty of stupid moves, but aside from resorting to their usual schedule fillers again (BBT or 2.5 Men) I can’t fault this one.

  19. @ Craig, I don’t think people here are complaining because Charlie’s Angels is being bumped, I think they (including myself) are more annoyed by the fact that yet again TBBT is the show they decide to replace with. Nine rely on TBBT way too much and a lot of people are getting sick of it (though the ratings strangely / annoyingly don’t reflect this). Surely Nine have other shows they could air instead of these constant TBBT repeats.

  21. was expecting this, they moved Camelot to GO with the exact same timeslot but this is what they should have done in the first place. but if they’re gonna movie it at least move it to 8:30 so we can see it unedited!!

  22. I know that people here like to hate nine, myslef included. But this is defending “charlie’s angels”, It is terrible, we all knew no one would watch it, it will not get a full season in the US.

    Any show that has someone dive into water and has a character say “she knows how to make a splash” should be taken out the back and shot, absolutely pathetic writing!
