Channel [V] Oz Artist: Top 50

Channel [V] has announced the Top 50 in its annual Oz Artist award, featuring such names as Birds Of Tokyo, Jebediah, Stan Walker, Bliss N Eso, Jessica Mauboy, Tame Impala, Boy & Bear, John Butler Trio, The Grates and Josh Pyke.

The Top 49 was determined by Channel [V], then viewers voted for their the Wild Card, the favourite signed or unsigned Australian artist to take the final spot which, went to Sydney four-piece, New Empire.

Another new component this year is that from Friday 21 October Channel [V] will begin eliminating artists with the least amount of votes. Fans will have until 5pm each day to save them by voting.
