Jockey Glen Boss joins Seven’s racing commentary team

Three-time Melbourne Cup winner, jockey Glen Boss, will join Seven’s Cup Carnival commentary team.

He will join Bruce McAvaney, Simon Marshall, Francesca Cumani and Richard Freedman for Victoria Derby, Melbourne Cup, Oaks and Stakes Day coverage.

“I can’t wait for the Melbourne Cup Carnival to start,” said Boss. “I look forward to bringing Channel 7 viewers an insight into everything that happens on the track from jockeys’ and trainers’ strategies to track conditions and the form of the horses.”

Seven’s Head of Sport Saul Shtein said “Glen is a not only a champion sportsman, he is very comfortable in front of a camera. We are thrilled to have his insights throughout our telecast of the Carnival.”

Boss’ wins include three Melbourne Cups on Makybe Diva plus the Golden Slipper and Cox Plate.
