Kerri-Anne on leave again as Celebrity Apprentice takes over

While she takes another day of leave, the cast of Celebrity Apprentice will take over Kerri-Anne in "one last mighty challenge."

The cast of Celebrity Apprentice will take over Kerri-Anne from 9.00am Friday morning.

Members of the teams, including those eliminated, will participate in what is described as “one last mighty challenge – to host Kerri-Anne live in front of a national audience. This time there is no room for error as all of Australia is judging.”

Nine advises that Kerri-Anne Kennerley is on leave and will be enjoying the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

But given there have been media reports that she may be unhappy about possible changes to her show, this isn’t exactly encouraging.

The Boss, Mark Bouris, will lead his celebrity co-hosts. He’ll be joined by one half of his Celebrity Apprentice advisory team, Deborah Thomas, plus Max Markson (Celebrity Agent), Shane Crawford (AFL Legend), Jesinta Campbell (Miss Universe Australia 2010), Julia Morris (Comedienne), Didier Cohen (International Model), Polly Porter (Reality Star), Deni Hines (Singer), Jason Coleman (Dance Guru) and Warwick Capper (1980s AFL Pinup).

Jesinta Campbell will be talking celebrity diets, while PR extraordinaire Max Markson will quiz entertainment reporter Lucy Chesterton on the showbiz gossip of the day.

The show will cross live to Shane Crawford and bookmaker Tom Waterhouse in Melbourne to give viewers their tips ahead of Derby Day and the Melbourne Cup.

Deborah Thomas leads a panel discussion with Jesinta Campbell, Didier Cohen and Julia Morris, live from Adelaide, on the hot topics of the day. Jason Coleman will cook up a storm with Masterchef’s Marion Grasby.

Deni Hines and Jason Coleman will meet up with renowned guitarist Tommy Emmanuel and Deni will perform her new single, Finger on the Trigger, live in the studio.

Plus, The Block’s Polly Porter will set a very special challenge for Warwick Capper and Didier Cohen.

9am Friday on Nine.

    1. I saw some of it (not including Bouris) and felt misled that Deborah Thomas was the anchor. If it was going to be any single person it should have been Julia Morris, not a Bouris advisor -or even the Celebrity Apprentice narrator: David Reyne (duh). KAK runs rings around this lot.

  1. Please Explain! No Pauline Hanson?

She might have brought some viewers. I’ll be busy getting myself ready for Cup week work at Flemington, so I won’t be seeing this.

Good luck. And if KAK, slips away I wonder how it will go?
