Seven’s coverage will be hosted by Bruce McAvaney, Francesca Cumani, Richard Freedman and Simon Marshall, with special guest expert Glen Boss, a three-time Melbourne Cup winner, joining the team this year after injury forced him off the track.

Peter Donegan will be in the mounting yard, Pat Welsh in the betting ring, dual Melbourne Cup winning jockey John Letts in the saddle interviewing the winning hoops on course and race calls by Australia’s premier race caller Greg Miles.

Presenters will include Johanna Griggs, Matthew White, Sonia Kruger, Rachael Finch, Hamish McLachlan, Michael Felgate, and Neil Kearney. Master of ceremonies is Sandy Roberts.

  1. By the looks of that race nine on Oaks Day isn’t being broadcast as it jumps at 5:50pm.. Be the first time in a while that’s happened. Last I recall was was 10 missing the last if there had been a delay on the day when they left at 5pm for news.

  2. Seven always do such an amazing job covering the Melbourne Cup 4 day carnival. The same can’t be said about Channel Nine and the racing coverage these past few weeks.
