Desperate Housewives faces return for final season

Familiar faces will return to Desperate Housewives as part of its final season.

Dana Delany, Kyle MacLachlan and Andrea Bowen are all set to reprise their roles, but it isn’t yet clear how Katherine Mayfair, Orson Hodge and Julie Mayer will be brought back into the storylines.

Delany left the show late in Season 6 to star on Body of Proof, which is now in its second season on ABC. She previously told Zap2it that “I’d like Katherine to come back to visit, and I’d like her to come back as a happy lesbian.”

MacLachlan was also last a regular cast member in Season 6, while Andrea Bowen left as a regular at the end of Season 4.

I guess Nicolette Sheridan is out…..?

    Hoping that orson hodge will be back on 8th season. It neever be the same without him.

    This season has been great so far. At least the show gets finish on it’s own accord rather than being axed and go out on a high.

    Looking forward to seeing kathrine back. Most other characters return so frequently you hardly notice they left.

    Past characters that I’d like to see return are John Rowland (Jesse Metcalfe), Dave Williams / David Dash (Neal McDonough), Kayla, Jackson Braddock (Gale Harold) and Dylan Mayfair (Lyndsy Fonseca).

    So sad that it’s ending.

    I’ve been watching Season 8 of Desperate Housewives via alternative means, and I would recommend any Housewives fans to watch it. It’s shaping up to be a great season.

    Great news! The final season started slow but is now coming along nicely. I’m glad they are having a lot of scenes with all the ladies together. I’m going to miss this show!

    I am glad that Dana is going to be in the final season although I haven’t exactly been missing her lately since I have been seeing her in Body of Proof.

    The final scene should be the girls leaving flowers on Nicolette’s character’s grave.. if there is one..
