Check out these tribute videos made for producers Russell T. Davies and Julie Gardner at an earlier wrap party.

When producers Russell T. Davies and Julie Gardner wrapped on Doctor Who at the end of 2009, cast and crew put together a special tribute video -two in fact- which is quite common for wrap parties.
These were said to be given to personnel for private use but they have emerged this week via YouTube and they are loads of fun.
The first sees John Barrowman, David Tennant and Catherine Tate singing about the BBC’s Julie Gardner coaxing Davies into reviving Doctor Who.

The second brings out all the troops. Watch carefully for some surprising cameos.

Wowie Zowie…Brilliant and Brilliant! The look on David’s face singing with The Proclaimers is priceless.
Fantastic.
Loved both of the Vid’s.
Looked like it was a lot of fun to make.
I love How David Got Everyone To Sing 1000 Miles as The Proclaimers Are He’s Favourite Band.
Fantastic, loved the 2nd one more, must have taken a lot of time and planning to do all those shots.
Brilliant. The first one’s extra funny if you’ve read Davies’ ‘The Writer’s Tale’…they’ve managed to summarise 690+ pages in a 6-minute song!
The second one was astounding … what a precious time capsule that is!
Thanx!
Now I just miss David Tennant all over again…
Excellent! Thank you.
these are so much fun!!!!!! thanks for posting 🙂
I’ve got my Doctor Who geek going big time over this! How fabulous!
