Greek MP walks out during live cross on Insight

SBS talk show Insight wasn't without its dramatic moments as one of the guests decided to make a hasty exit mid-interview.

The season final of SBS talk show Insight wasn’t without its dramatic moments last night as one of the guests via satellite decided to make a hasty exit mid-interview.

The show was live to air as it discussed ‘Greek Ruins’, exploring the economic crisis in Greece and its global implications.

But things became a little fiery, when George Charalampopoulos, MP for the Pasok party, walked out during a live cross.

Host Jenny Brockie was left to soldier on with the remaining guests.

  1. I missed this episode, shall watch one of the repeats. Jenny Brockie does a fantastic job moderating on this show. She is so on the ball and runs a very tight ship

  2. Last nights episode really depressed me, and its such a shame..

In addition, i dont think there was anything wrong with what he did, and i agree that it did seem as though he was under the impression that the interview would not be so long.
The outgoing govt adopted massive problems from the previous govt, and there was nothing much they could do..

its a real shame.. the most beautiful country in the world going through such a crisis
but there are definitely massive issues with peoples attitude in Greece!

  3. I watched the closing moments of this episode and the other guests the Greek Finance expert left as well after he didnt want to be silenced or interupted mid sentence, after he made his comment he left. Great episode though.

  4. @ J Bar except this was well into the program and not the first time he’d talked.

He had a tanty and left – pretty much sums up the entire Greek debt crisis really.
