It’s boys vs. girls in tonight’s Junior MasterChef Finale as 12 year old Queenslander Jack competes with 11 year old West Australian, Greta.

The two face-off in a battle for the 2011 title of the TEN Reality series after 11 year old Harryand 12 year old Zac were eliminated in a semi-final challenge set under the sails of the Sydney Opera House.

The judges chose Jack’s dishes worthy enough for a place in the final, going head-to-head with Greta.

But Zac and Harry remained upbeat about their experiences.

Zac said, “I’m not disappointed at all, I have achieved so much more than I ever thought was possible. Not only has my cooking improved but I have loved learning about the production side of making a television series.”

Harry added, “The judges were so helpful, kind and nice. George is funny and loved to play soccer with the kids at lunchtime. They were always there if we needed help and Anna was so lovely to me, especially when we were in the US and she knew that my mum wasn’t there.”

A two hour finale airs tonight at 7.30pm on TEN.

  1. You could tell from last weeks promos of the finale that a brunette girl was in the middle of the screaming kids holding the trophy.

    Well done Greta. Well deserved…

  2. I agree number 12, a very low care factor on this one. In fact, the care factor on this whole franchise seems to have plummeted since Shine took charge of it.

  3. I wish this season of kids were on last year. I think the kids this season are way better.

I wanted Harry to make the final. He is just the most adorable kid.
