And here is your first glimpse of the set of TEN’s revival of It’s a Knockout, which has been filming this week in Kuala Lumpur.

The set features a circus-like obstacle course of swimming pools, conveyor belts, bungee jumps, challenge walls and more. TEN and McDonald’s banners hang from the stadium.

The set is the same as that which has been used for The Biggest Gameshow in the World: Asia with teams from Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam (see clips).

For the TEN series, Aussie teams will compete in the crazy battles, hosted by H.G. Nelson and there has been a concerted effort to have expats fill the front rows of the stadium.

It will air over summer.

  1. Am I the only one to think that this is Mac & Me II (the movie that was plastered with Mc Donalds ads in the 80s)

    One can only imagine how bad Young Talent Time is going to be if this is the benchmark.. They will probably have the cast singing jingles like Snappy Tom and Red Rooster.. How vile!!!

  4. I too was hoping this was going to be good. But alas it was not. It was so bad I would not be surprised if it appeared on ACA or TT as a dodgy gameshow segment. There were no timers on the screen to let the viewers know how long each contestant had left (You would think this was a given…but no…up there for thinking CH 10!). It looks like they ran out of green with the Victorian team because they usied red in some games. I know the teams play for charity but at least could they play with a bit of integrity.

    i don’t know what you think, but im loving it
    the teams competing are fantastic. they make the show imo
    the teams, and the knockout cheerleaders 😉
