Lachlan and Sarah, not to be confused with another high-profile couple, have won Seven’s reality series Beauty and the Geek Australia.
The two narrowly beat Jordan and Julian in the final elimination quiz, to take home the $100,000 prize.
Geek Lachlan alwso walks away with a girlfriend after finding love with beauty Jordan during the filming of the third series.
“I’m taking away so many things out of this experience. Top of the list is my girlfriend Jordan, she’s amazing; and $50,000, you can’t sneeze at that; a whole lot of self-belief; and an awesome friend in Sarah. I couldn’t be happier,” he said.
Meanwhile beauties Troy and Mackenzie announced they too were in love and plan to marry.
Sounds like Farmer Wants a Wife has some competition.

Just like that radio couple that married back in the late 90s!
Lachlan/Sarah were my favourite couple from episode one of this series, so I was happy that they won the money, but I really liked Julian/Jordan too.
Overall, very entertaining series this year, and a ratings winner for Seven.
I love this show mainly for the geeks and the transformation they undergo. They make the rest of us look and feel so shallow.
The Sunday Telegraph first revealed in early October that Troy and MacKenzie announcing they were engaged, and change their profiles on Facebook.
