Further to speculation that Nine is planning format changes to Kerri-Anne next year, last week Nine’s legal department registered the trademark Mornings with IP Australia.
Class 41 of Trademark Goods and Services includes ‘Production of television programs and television content.’
Kennerley returns to the Nine show tomorrow after taking leave. She recently told media, “I’m not averse to success. I am in this for success, not failure.
“If you don’t like change, don’t be in media.”

She should jump ship to TEN and help serve ‘Breakfast’ next year..
Possibly KAK could do a old fashioned version of lunchtime show
Midday with Mike Walsh was great entertainment.
Some music, some decent interviews (more than 2 minutes) and a show with infomercials might work.
Morning TV with informercials annoy me and I avoid them.
Less celebrity and fashion stories and more topical.
KAK has been an amazing on air talent over the years but it’s little wonder her show doesn’t rate as well as it could as it’s just not that good. They should style it more on Bert’s 90’s version of GMA and the success that had in its earlier years.
Bye, bye KAK.
KAK was, is and always will be the First Lady of Aussie TV.
She is about the only one with any class in morning TV. I only turn back to Nine when she is on, doing everything to avoid Beavis Stefanovic and Butthead Fordham.
Seriously, who’s gonna watch that?
