ABC1's rage has had over 300 Aussie acts gracing the famous rage couch in the show’s 25 years.

It might not be Rocktober but this month rage has invited some Aussie acts to help celebrate triple j Ausmusic month.

ABC1’s rage has had over 300 Aussie acts gracing the famous rage couch in the show’s 25 years.

Spanning everything from rock, folk, hip hop and party beats, this is a month dedicated to all those talented up-and-comers and everything that’s wonderful about new Australian music.

Saturday November 5 at 12:15AM – Boy & Bear
First up, Sydney indie rock band Boy & Bear set themselves up on the rage couch and program an eclectic mix of clips from Sigor Rós and Grizzly Bear, to Fleetwood Mac. This will be followed by an all Australian playlist including Cloud Control, Husky, Little Red, Ball Park Music and many more!

Saturday November 12 at 11:25PM – Horrorshow
Hip Hop duo Horrorshow pull together a selection of clips including Nas, The Roots and Mos Def. This will be followed by a selection of the best in Aussie hip hop, with acts like Drapht, Spit Syndicate, Illy and Urthboy.

Saturday November 19 at 11:25PM – The Jezabels
Indie pop/rock group The Jezabel’s show their appreciation for Britney Spears, Björk, Shakespear’s Sister and The Killers. Following their picks, rage serves up a hot Aussie rock playlist including Tame Impala, Deep Sea Arcade, Children Collide, Oh Mercy and more.

Saturday November 26 AT 12:10AM – Bag Raiders
Sydney house duo Bag Raiders wrap the month up with gems from Sebastian Tellier, Hot Chip and El Perro Del Mar. rage will then serve up a selection of the best Aussie dance from acts including The Aston Shuffle, Strange Talk, Art Vs Science and much more!

  1. i would like to watch more rage but the production is so ameturish that i cant stand it. The graphics are crap about 20 yrs old and the opening title sequence has had it. They need to update the graphics at least, the production needs to be better, which will include moremoney spent although i cant see that happening, It hasnt even been a year and already i miss Video Hits.
