I was watching Alien 3 last night on 1 hd and i wanna know why Ten cut out 3 scenes in the movie? One of the scenes was when the alien bites into the guys head but that was also cut out! Maybe you can ask Ten yourself david because i think it’s pretty pathetic not showing it since it was past 9.30 before any gore started and anyway shoudn’t it be fine to show @ 8.30?

  2. aznfratboy November 17, 2011 at 11:59 pm -

Absolutely over the moon to see ABC beat TEN, lets hope there’s more of that to come.

I’m surprised that ABC2 has so many entries in the multichannels. I guess 7 year olds haven’t quite worked out how to torrent at 20Mbits/s yet. Pity I don’t recognise a single one of those ABC2 shows. Whatever happened to classics like Arthur, Blinky Bill, Franklin, Oakie Doake, Oscar and Friends, Pingu… the list goes on?

  3. ducko November 17, 2011 at 1:10 pm -

    @ tmorgan,
Not more sophisticated, but definitely more broad-minded.

  4. chris November 17, 2011 at 12:44 pm -

@SteveSydney those Melbourne figures are an exception probably due to the Obama coverage. Its generally neck and neck between the two.

  5. D@GP November 17, 2011 at 11:06 am -

    With you, Craig.

We watched last Sunday’s ep of Frozen Planet last night, but moved on to another show by the halfway mark.

Deja Vu deja vu deja vu with this show.

  6. tmorgan November 17, 2011 at 10:40 am -

Just noticed Gruen is way more popular in Sydney than Melbourne, while CA is more popular in Melbourne than Sydney…
Is the Sydney viewer more sophisticated than the Melbourne viewer?
    (Hehe. This’ll cause some fighting…)

  7. mv November 17, 2011 at 10:38 am -

Loving Killing Time on pay tv, so much better than underbelly (not inc the first one).

  8. David Knox November 17, 2011 at 10:27 am -

Now added. This data doesn’t always arrive at the same time, so Ratings posts always update.

  9. johnjet November 17, 2011 at 10:19 am -

    Pay TV ratings???

  10. steve sydney November 17, 2011 at 9:51 am -

Nine News is killing Seven both Sydney and Melbourne.. how long can that continue?

  11. Craig November 17, 2011 at 9:36 am -

Anyone else get the feeling Nine has over exposed Frozen Plant. Sunday 2 weeks ago it was on 1.28 Mil, last Sunday 1 mil and last night 779k. Now I don’t have the other Wednesday night number but they seem to be slipping quickly. Doesn’t help they are on GEM each night this week and the continue to get bad press about edited ep with parts cut out and now dropping the climate change season final. Yes David that is still bugging me!

Sorry Nine I’ll get the DVDs or rent them when they come out. No ads, no edits.

  12. Mason November 17, 2011 at 9:32 am -

I noticed last night that Glee is finished until February but you would think 10 would at least play the Christmas ep considering its ratings aren’t great anyway.

While I’m at it I used to watch 10 always but they seem to have gone to the 9 school of programming.
