It’s one of those movies that TEN had played to death but now Love, Actually will pop up on Seven.
The UK romantic comedy airs 8:40pm next Tuesday night.
Any truth to the rumour that TEN plans to replace it with About a Boy?

don’t watch tv then…I happen to want to watch love, actually cause the last time I saw it was when it came out, and now its not even playing.
Love Actually (in fact most of Hugh’s films) and Back to Future, play, at least once every two months on tv, year in year out; havent 7, 9 or 10 got anything more current; why the same films over and over – grr
Is About a Boy still on Ten, I don’t remember seeing it on all year?
Maybe it has moved to Seven with the changing movie distribution deals.
Thanks to TVTonight’s lovely archives we can see that Love Actually screened on Seven in Sydney and Brisbane in May:

I think it’s nice that 7, 9 and 10 all have Hugh Grant movies to over-play.
7 – Love Actually
9 – Two Weeks Notice
10 – About a Boy
Haven’t seen Mean Girls in a while.
A romantic comedy starring Hugh Grant? Eegh, no thanks. Automatic switch off factor for me. Has that guy made any good movies?
A This movie hasnt been on air all year
B Its a Good Movie
C Its Christmas
Nothing wrong with 7 showing it.
I’m pretty sure Seven played this earlier in the year (in Sydney). So they are not confining it to the Christmas season either.
Ten are now left with Back to the Future, About a Boy and Devils wear Prada!
It’s a pity that Ten are yet to Steal Grease and Saturday Night Fever from Seven.
@deedeedragons… yes, haven’t seen Billy Madison on Ten for at least a year… what’s going on?!
hey david how do movies or tv shows for that matter switch like that?
do the rights expire or something?
be interested to know
How about Passenger 57 on Channel 9? I never watched the whole thing (it had Wesley Snipes and a young Liz Hurley) but they always used the same bit in the ad – “Always bet on black!”
Now, now please — what about “Sleepless in Seattle” and “Kindergarden Cop” or “True Lies” on Ten….
If they want something different for Christmas, a classic that has not been seen on Australian tv for many years, only recently colorized — Laurel and Hardy in “March of the Wooden Soldiers”. This is a tradition in the US (especially in New York) and it would be a perfect lead-in to one of those Carols specials and at only 70+ minutes without commercials, it would be perfect 80-90 minute programming, not seen by generations of today’s tv audiences.
Look on the bright side – at least 7’s acknowledging it’s a “repeat”…
Nothing beats the records of Billy Madison/Happy Gilmore or the Back To The Future movies for repeat showing on TEN.
Why would they but this S— after so many ten repeats
no idea seven
Hahahaah, hilarious. But please tell me Ten has retained the Back To The Future series? I really need to see them over the holidays – For the 4756th Time!!!
Police Academy, National Lampoon’s, Jurassic Park…
Should be on on Christmas Eve…
must we watch endless repeated movies from one station to another.. ugh
Love Actually should be watched on Christmas Eve and only Christmas Eve.
At least Seven will play it at the time it should be played, not like Ten who will play it as many times as they want, whenever in the year they want. It should do well next week but Seven should still promote it.
