@ Matthew See
It doesn’t surprise me it rated better except for people on holidays more people are likely to be home on a Monday rather than a Saturday. That’s why I don’t get why they can’t, unless they don’t have the people to, put Doctor Who on the Sunday. That is the same day as the BBC or less than 24 hours later. I’ll admit the one thing I loved that the ABC did was they repeated it. Because if that Christmas Day storm had of happened on Monday I would of missed it. Although there was that time in January where the electricity was off from 6+pm – 12.25am. Due to someone knocking down a pole. But thankfully the power came back after 9pm on Christmas. I hope they continue with repeats for people that have power outages and can’t access iView.
What’s the highest rating program of Channel Ten last night?
Looks like the good Doctor helped the ABC thrash TEN last night. I seriously hope TEN has some solutions to its sliding ratings.
Lazy people not switching channels.
Considering it is the Christmas/New Year period it is amazing that the latest Doctor Who Christmas Special has an increase in ratings to the previous episode, this year’s season finale The Wedding of River Song.
Wow, nothing on Ten made the Top 20.
Cricket brought the audience back during the day but the networks will need to try harder at night to get the figures back up.
TV may be a toxic bore this summer, but Ten’s ratings performance is sure keeping me entertained!
@ smiley_mick …..My exact reaction….even before I read down to your post.
How can TEN be almost half that of abc1. Wow. Geeeezzzzz
