Actor on good behaviour bond

Tiriel Mora, best known for Frontline, has been given a good behaviour bond by Katoomba Local Court after being convicted of assault.

Actor Tiriel Mora, best known for The Castle and Frontline, has been given a 12 months good behaviour bond by Katoomba Local Court after being convicted of assault.

The Daily Telegraph reports a domestic dispute between Mora and his wife of nine years, Brigid, took place on October 1st last year.

The dispute was reportedly triggered by a comment Mora made to his wife about her dysfunctional relationship with a family member, with whom she had recently reconciled.

A struggle followed, resulting in bruises on Mrs Mora’s arms and legs.

The court heard the pair still live together and Mrs Mora did not want police to proceed with criminal charges against her husband, but when they did she did not resile from her allegations.

Magistrate Helen Barry said that the assault was a tragic and sad occasion for both.
