Rebel Wilson will star in her own comedy pilot for CBS, to be produced by Conan O’Brien.
Wilson wrote Super Fun Night, a half-hour, multi-camera comedy about three geeky female friends who attempt to turn every Friday night into a Super Fun Night.
She will also serve as a co-executive producer.
Wilson, recently appearing in the feature films Bridesmaids and A Few Best Men, has come a long way from her Aussie TV outings.
She appeared in Australia in Pizza, The Wedge, Thank God You’re Here, Monster House, plus her own series for SBS, Bogan Pride.

I like Rebel, but after seeing her in A Few Best Men she is a bit of a one trick pony.
Yeah, good on her.
I also remember her from those telstra ads on Aus Idol.
Thought she was almost always freakin hilarious on TGYH.
But it does say something that aussie talent have to head overseas for support/real money.

Looks like Rebel made quite the impact when she was a guest on Conan last year . Good on her.
I remember her in an Episode of Rules of Engagement too. Good to see that she can go overseas and not only continue acting, but also continue to write.

Gotta hand it to Rebel Wilson. She is unstobbable.. she has never given up her talent and pursuit of her dream as a performer/comedian
