New look for Deal or no Deal
Andrew O'Keefe gets ready to open the case on a brand new set for Deal or No Deal.

Seven’s game show Deal or No Deal will introduce a new set in a bid to refresh the show in its battle with Nine’s Hot Seat.
The 26 “Dealettes” will also be trimmed to just three, with models Chelsea Butler, Kate Mac and Candice Goss. They will have an increased role alongside host Andrew O’Keefe in the hope of allowing viewers to connect with them more closely.
Last year the long-running game show lost ground to Eddie McGuire’s Millionaire offshoot and it’s high time to find some new energy. Opening brief cases lacks the versatility of quiz questions.
“It’s all looking really good,” O’Keefe told the Herald Sun. “It’s funny how very simple things like this can lend a new energy to a show that has probably considered its format to be quite set for some time.”
I guess that addresses the points O’Keefe made late last year when he said, “I am tilling, I think, the same soil nowadays to try to produce prize-winning fruit, which is hard work. It is tiring and taxing and lonely.”
Registrations are currently open for new contestants here.

It’s basically nothing more than the same dull set, no relaunch.
Bring back the price is right with Larry
What’s with all the hate for AOK? He’s a fun host and seems to genuinely be enjoying himself. I’d stop watching if they got rid of him.
Something else! Weakest Link, Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune. Anything!
Is this the season for tv show revamps and new sets???? First it was today. then its abc news24 and now deal or no deal.
It will take more than a few cosmetic changes.
The greed factor, no skill on the part of contestants, and a painfully fake host will prevail.
Next get rid of AoK.
It’s still a show with the contestants even lower than the lowest common denominator and a host that is an embarrassment. Nothing would make me watch this show. The only time I ever see it is on mute moment before the news commences.
How about trimming the host. I might watch it then.
