TEN has appointed AFR's marketing and media editor Neil Shoebridge to the new position of Director of Corporate and Public Communications.

TEN has appointed The Australian Financial Review’s marketing and media editor Neil Shoebridge to the new position of Director of Corporate and Public Communications.

TEN’s Chief Executive Officer, James Warburton, said, “Neil needs little introduction. He has been a prolific force in the media and marketing community over the past two decades. He brings significant experience and an astute knowledge of Australian business to the Network.”

Neil Shoebridge added, “I am thrilled to be joining TEN at such an exciting time for the Network.” Neil will oversee all external communications by TEN, as well as assist Group Chief Financial Officer, Paul Anderson, with co-ordinating investor relations.”

During his nine years at AFR, Shoebridge has reported numerous stories on the machinations of networks and advertisers, including TEN.

Based in Sydney, he will start on 20th February.

  1. I quite enjoy Neil Shoebridge’s articles in the AFR. The problem is he was a one-band band at the paper, writing almost each and every article in the section, unlike The Australian’s media section which has half a dozen reporters. It will be very hard to replace Neil at the AFR.
