  1. Trev January 27, 2012 at 4:54 pm -

Why are people surprised at Nine’s news performance. When the cricket’s on Nine wins. Wait until the AdelaideTest is over, Seven will be back on top, although Sydney and Melbourne look shaky.

  2. GG January 27, 2012 at 4:26 pm -

Nice to see Nine news doing so well – without any assistance from WIN in Adelaide and Perth.

Good to see a better product rewarded.

  3. William January 27, 2012 at 3:56 pm -

One almost beat Gem, Go and 7mate with a total of 2.7%

  4. William January 27, 2012 at 3:54 pm -

Anon: maybe because of the new logo for the news that Nine has than Seven the old logo

  5. Anon January 27, 2012 at 3:20 pm -

do we know why Nine news is suddenly more popular than Seven?

  6. Sacs January 27, 2012 at 2:43 pm -

Thanks ABC2 for showing the Nick Cave tribute concert last night. A very entertaining alternative to the racquet on Seven.

  7. Brad January 27, 2012 at 1:10 pm -

I would like to think Channel 7 would be thrilled with the figures for the Tennis, shows what happens when sport is played Live on TV, now for live Friday night AFL…….

  8. Maev....Sydney January 27, 2012 at 12:48 pm -

    @ TT…yep ….I was suprised to see 7th Heaven there also….
And although I do not watch….Ch.9’s stalwart Getaway making the top 20 as well.

  9. alvar January 27, 2012 at 11:26 am -

who in their right mind thought it would be a good idea to launch a gifted man and 2 new episodes of SVU on a public holiday? will be a difficult to build on those numbers next week with viewers having missed premiere episodes.

  10. Rutzie January 27, 2012 at 10:31 am -

Big figures for 7two in Perth with the tennis actually beating Nine News and ACA. Not surprising given the Federer v Nadal match was in full swing between 6-7:30pm in Perth. Given the criticism Channel 7 has copped for their broadcast of the Australian Open over the last couple of years I think they deserve a lot of credit for the way they have broadcast the event this year and I believe the ratings are a reflection of this.

  11. Steven January 27, 2012 at 10:28 am -

How does this years tennis ratings compared to previous years?

  12. John January 27, 2012 at 10:15 am -

So good to see Doctor Who in the top 10. Know it was a repeat but it was a great episode. Wonder what Happy Days and Get Smart are getting. Any one else watching these shows?

  13. Allie January 27, 2012 at 10:07 am -

I knew last night would rate well because of who was playing, but I wasn’t expecting that. Wowzers!!!

  14. smiley_mick January 27, 2012 at 9:58 am -

Viewers love the Federer vs Nadal friendly rivalry

  15. Bogues January 27, 2012 at 9:41 am -

498k for a first run ep of SVU is pretty disappointing, as was Ten’s decision to schedule it so late. Hopefully the time shifted results will pick those numbers up.

  16. TT January 27, 2012 at 9:30 am -

Wow! Impressive ratings for ‘7th Heaven’ at a 10am timeslot :)

  17. steve sydney January 27, 2012 at 9:27 am -

I think both TEN and Nine would be looking forward to the Tennis being over… those are incredible numbers
