  1. Just looking through the Pay TV ratings David and to my surprise there is no mention at all of the Australian Open.Previous years it’s rated very well, but for some strange reason didn’t even make a blimp on the radar is there a reason for this perhaps since it was Channel 7 being the main provider for the coverage????

  2. Something i noticed on Fox Sports tennis coverage the last 3 days of play they covered was whatever match they showed they would turn down the volume on court.Made it easier to watch that’s for sure, but then on the other hand if a commentator was still talking when the ball was about to be served he would fade away lol. Then when the point was finished the volume would go up again.Interesting idea not sure if it worked to well but Foxtel probably couldn’t do anything else as the feed was from Channel 7

  3. @ [email protected]….possibly not a lack of celebs….but perhaps a lack of finance to pay the asking price,,,,times are tight?!?!?
    Ch.2 is stuggling now….only Nigella…and 7.30…and possibly…like me…many only watch that as a lead in to Nigella….

  4. [email protected]

Heard a whisper that TEN’s looking to revive Celebrity Squares.. . .

    but ran out of celebrities.

  5. See you don’t need an Australian for the tennis to rate. It’s doing very well considering. The Biggest Loser is doing ok but what will this mean for Excess Baggage? I am hoping the same sort of figures but Nine will fin one way of manipulating the ratings I am sure. Just like they did with the Celebrity Apprentice.

TEN’s encores did good. Yes they are lowing figures but they bide well all things considered.

  6. Secret Squïrrel

@steve sydney – TBL was 2nd and 4th in the two younger demos. I wouldn’t be writing it off just yet.

@Cookie – not in the demos where it really matters and it was only the WIN capitals that let TBBT down.

  7. steve sydney- What happened if someone missed an episode of the ”Super Sunday” and they wanted to find out what happened. The Encore logo is their for the people that the episode is been repeated.

  8. [email protected]

Don’t think prime-time encore screenings do anyone a favour – certainly not the viewers, judging by TEN’s lack of numbers again last night…

  9. Is TBL going the way of The Renovators?

And was it really necessary for TEN to have the ‘encore’ watermark on the screen during the entire programming last night?
