The ABC showed a rare hint of passion last night when it tweeted about Gem’s coverage of the cricket.
“@wwos9 Thanks for the repeat of the Golden Girls on GEM when the cricket went overtime. A worse effort than your Rugby League coverage.”
ABC must have had a change of heart, deleting the tweet not long afterwards.

Bloody lawyers….
I can’t believe the NRL trumped the Cricket, when the NRL bought its season forward.
I’d much rather see the upteenth repeat of a Golden Girls episode than the cricket, so it’s a win in my book!
WIN Albury played the Golden Girls.
Excellant work ABC , pity they deleted it.
It sounds like the east coast regional GEMs (i.e. WIN) failed to make the switch to the cricket. Certainly didn’t get any of that half-hour here in the ACT.
It’s much more important to see what Blanch and Sophia are up to than to know what’s happening in the world of Australian sport, surely everyone agrees?
The last few overs of the Aussie innings was on GEM at 6pm in Vic.
Wonder where they were as the cricket did indeed play on Gem from 6pm till 6.30 on GEM in Sydney market.
