Roseanne Barr has filed the official paperwork necessary to run for the Green Party nomination for president of the United States.

Take that Donald Trump.

“I am running for Green Party nominee for POTUS,” she said on Twitter. “I am an official candidate. I am4 the Greening of America&the world. Green=peace/justice.”

Barr filed her paperwork with the Federal Election Commission on January 25th, creating a four-way race for the Green nomination, which will be decided at the Green Party Presidential Nominating Convention in July.

“I will run until the convention in July in Baltimore-I fully expect Jill Stein 2b the nominee& I will support her, but til then-I’ll serve,” Barr said.

Barr recently won a new sitcom pilot approval, Downwardly Mobile, from NBC.

@ Michael. Fred Thompson (that dude from Law and Order) was a Senator for 9 years before running for President. And I think we should all remember that Peter Garrett is in the Federal Parliament. Let’s not be hypocritical.

She’s worse than Hillary Clinton. And that’s saying plenty. She’s as bad as Julia, but with a vicious streak a mile wide.

Should last about as long as the dude from Law and Order that ran last time. Not saying either wouldn’t do a better job then Odrama anyway!

Republicans would be loving this. All it’ll achieve is splitting the Democrat vote, like it did when Ralph Nader did a few years back.

As much as us Aussies like to accuse Americans of being stupid, unlike us, they will never elect the Green Party to Any position of power…

She says herself it will never happen….and they have as much chance of having a Green Prez….as we do a Green PM

No more frightening than Bob Brown being the Greens leader in this country.

I saw her on a talk show a while ago, maybe The View, saying that she wanted to run. I thought it was a joke. I wonder if she is funding her own campaign.
