Have to admit it’s very well done; but …. the opening premise is straight from “28 Days Later”; and some of the characterizations and situations are pretty much by the book. ie, the rednecks, the love triangle etc. Which unfortunately is sometimes needed to drive the drama. And it’s a bit slow in places (IMHO) but definitely worth watching, just be ready for the excessive gore. The episode with the latino street gang was quiet refreshing.
