Seven would be very happy with the Rafters numbers. 2 Broke Girls did well in the ratings and should stay there if it maintains those numbers but I would be saying goodbye to Two and Half Men which have to change to another night (maybe Wednesday 7.30) as they are in such a competitive slot and will always come third.
PTTR is not the massive ratings drawcard it used to be, with only 400k more than NCIS. Only a few years ago it was scoring an average audience of 2.1 million viewers per episode
2.5 Men is bombing, those numbers are only around 50,000 more than it was getting for repeat episodes over the summer
I don’t watch Rafters, but I would suggest 1.5 million for an Aussie drama in its 4th season and about to start its 5th is hardly the beginning of the end.
I agree with JB – it was the inclusion of the Retta character to make up for the lack of females that turned me off – just not a well written character. The story lines became really lame – I didn’t even bother.
Yep the glory days of PTTR are long gone. Seven really screwed it over last year, and now it seems it’s come back to bite them. What were they thinking? Mind you Rafters was already going downhill. Since Mel’s death the quality of the show was getting worse, the stories were crap, and the character of Retta was woeful and the greater screen time for Carbo plus Retta was worse. So i was already giving up on the show, then when Seven took it off it made up my mind and i’ve stopped watching altogether.

This is the 1st time in a while where a new episode of NCIS doesn’t get over a million. Not great News for PTTR either..
Any idea how The Project did? Just wondering if they gained any numbers thanks to Magda’s appearance…
